DHCP issue with Vista Client

I have a single Vista laptop on our SBS Standard network that sprodically has issues obtaining (and retaining) an IP address. I have battled with this thing for months now and am getting really sick of it (and so is the user). I want the user to use the wired LAN when he's in the office but often he can't because Vista won't obtain an IP from the SBS server so he switches on his wireless, which picks up an IP address instantly from a cheap access point. I have tried registry tweaks, hotfixes, etc. but nothing seems to work. If he does manage to actually get an IP address... quite often the server will boot him off (Event Logs show NIC disconnect) and he can't get an IP again.

What are all the hotfixes that are "supposed" to fix this issue now? Is there supposed to be one in Vista SP1? Haven't tried that yet...
