Running SBS 2003 Premium SP1, clients are all running Win XP Pro SP2/3.
========
One of our staff members needs to access a secure site at a university, and
this site uses port 9443 for SSL. When she tries to access the site, she
gets error code 502:
a.. Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
port is not allowed. ISA Server is not configured to allow SSL requests from
this port. Most Web browsers use port 443 for SSL requests. (12204)
b.. IP Address: 192.168.16.2
c.. Date: 8/13/2008 4:57:45 PM
d.. Server: wct.whooper.local
e.. Source: proxy
So I created an access rule in ISA, set to Allow actions using the HTTPS
protocol on port 9443, with Extranal and Internal on both the From and To
tabs (to allow 2-way communication). Then I placed it above the Internet
Access and Protectctred Network Access Rules, hit apply. But ... she says
she still can't get through. NOthing in the server event logs, and no
alerts in ISA.
What am I missing?
