Connect to the internet wizard

I have had this problem at a few sites.
SBS setup with 2 NIC
ADSL modem set as bridged/pass through
Running the wizard I select a connection that requires a user name and
password and fill in the fixed IP address and DNS fields
Just the normal thing that is used and works most of the time.

Now the problem
After doing this sometimes it will not connect however if I just leave it
for about 2 hours or more it connects.
Question is there a way to force the connection at anytime??

Regards Doug
