Clarifications - Migrating Windows Small Business Server 2003

Hi,

I would like to migarte SBS 2003 to a new hardware using Microsoft's article
Migrating Windows Small Business Server 2003 to New Hardware.
(I know that sbsmigration.com is recommended, but they are currently in
vacation - no support - and I need to finish this migration ASAP).

Never in this Microsoft document it is written what steps should be done
when the source server is offline, and what steps when it's online.

I began to work with source and destination servers both online, but I'm
afaraid continuing might cause an irreversible damage.
