One of our client's servers started throwing this error:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please
run the chkdsk utility on the volume \Device
\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy269.
We have disabled Shadow Copies and recreated but the error still
occurs.
We've done a chkdsk /r which required a reboot and still the same
error (40K+ times last night)
I'm not finding much else on this. Everything appears to be running
fine except backups fail consistently.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks much.

Thanks for the suggestion. After being on the phone with Microsoft
support all weekend, this definitely has something to do with VSS and/
or file system. CHKDSK /R works sometimes....and then the problem
comes back. Weird stuff.
