With the rash of DNS poisonings etc, lately...many folks are not routing DNS through OPENDNS. www.opendns.com rather than ISP DNS servers

You can also try removing your DNS forwarders and only use Root Hints

No offense, but I don't agree that there's something wrong with a user typing YAHOO.COM instead of WWW.YAHOO.COM.

Some web browsers will add bits that you leave out, but I have no idea which as it's the kind of thing I disable early.

Interesting. I wasn't aware this could be disabled. How do you disable it?
