Thank you for your reply.
If I put SBS into 1nic config, how would that impact the use of VPN? I
thought that I needed 2nic config to be able to configure VPN.

I've come a bit further with the problem and I think the problem is in
my adsl router. I connected my laptop directly to the adsl router, so
it was using a 10.0.0.5 ip and I forwarded the correct ports on the
adsl router to that ip. And i am still getting disconnected after
30-32 seconds.
