You need more information, possibly some experimentation with nslookup
might throw some light on it. If the SBS is using forwarders, you might
try removing them, and vice versa. It doesn't really sound like an SBS
problem.

I wouldn't have thought it was worth a lot of effort if using the full
hostname always works. I dare say your clients are busy people, but how
much of your time is worth the saving of four characters for sites without
bookmarks?
