Can you see if you got as an update in your windows update history a WSUS 3 sp1 update last week?

About a week ago I installed the latest recommended patches for the SBS2003.
IIS broke (permissions become deny rather than allow).
Now it also appears that WSUS is affected. I cannot truly confirm this since I have not used it for 2 weeks.
This is what the console shows:
Error:Unexpected Error
An Unexpected error occurred. Click Reset Server Node to try to connect to the server again.
Nothing works.
I went to IIS and tried to browse the site. nothing.
Any ideas?
