Anyone know of a company that sells an antivirus products for SBS that will
not try to sell me 5 (or more) licenses at a time. I thought Avast was
selling 1 license at a time, but their advertising is misleading, they want
to sell 5 at a time.

I just need 1 license for the server, the workstations are locked up in a
product already, and we don't have the money to spend on 4 extra licenses
that will just sit around.

Seems like EVERY company wants me to buy more than 1 license. If I needed 6
they want to sell me 10, or if I needed 21 they would try to sell me
25......

What product are you using on the workstations?

Why not purchase the server version from the company that makes the
workstation version you've already selected?

Get use to the 5 qty, and you're lucky, most of them required 10, it
wasn't until last year that most of them switched to 5.

You want File/Memory AV for the server, and you also want SMTP aware AV
for the Exchange part of the server, you're not going to get that in a
cheap home version of AV software.

I'm using Symantec Corp 10.2 on servers, and yes, we have to purchase in
lots of 5, but we also use a firewall that strips email attachments, web
blocking of downloads/content, and we use an SMTP Aware scanner on the
Exchange servers.

You're also going to want the server to control the workstations, so
that's why the normally package in units of 5.
