Hi Dean:.
We can eliminate the DNS portion if you will post the results of the
command:
ipconfig /all > iptest.txt
from the server and one of the workstations. Please don't change anything,
although you could alter the server and domain names if you wish.
Haven't seen this one in awhile, but there is a setting in IE - Tools - Inet
Options -Advanced to use http 1.1 through proxy connection. You might try
checking or unchecking those boxes. And further down, there is SSL
settings, which might be an issue.

Hello,
I am having some problems that I am pretty sure are related to SBS 2003,
but
I am not knowledgeable enough about DNS, etc. to be sure. With my SBS
server
I am also running ISA 2004. I will try to describe the problem, but it
may
be a little hard to understand. I will try to work with any responses to
narrow down the problem as much as I can - this is very frustrating.
On any of my SBS 2003 client desktops, they successfully can surf normal
websites on the internet. There does not appear to be any issues. As soon
as
I try to log into restricted sites - like online banking, or other sites
with
HTTPS://, I start running into problems. I am not saying that it is
totally
related to HTTPS:, but that is where the problem seems to be.
As soon as I log into these sites, the next screens have issues.
Sometimes
they will not come back at all and all I get is that Internet Explorer
cannot
display the web page. Sometimes part of the page will come back, but some
of
the pictures or buttons will not download. Sometimes there are errors at
the
bottom of IE (Unable to load object). This happens with IE or Firefox.
The reason that I think it is related to SBS 2003 is that if I open
another
IE window while I am experiencing the above problems at the bottom of IE
it
says trying to connect to 192.168.16.2 (which is the IP of my server), and
once I even saw a quick flash where it said DNS Error.
I know that is not much to go on, but again, I do not think it is network
hardware related (all other functions of surfing, network, etc) work fine,
and I do not think it is the internet provider - again, normal websites
load
fast and completely. If anybody responds, I will answer any and all
questions to help get this narrowed down - like I said it is extremely
frustrating.
Thanks in advance.
