If I remember correctly, the information on this is in the WSUS 3 release notes. I'd check there first. Going strictly from my tired old memory, and it's been a while since I upgraded to 3, I believe that you have to back up the WSUS 2 database before starting the upgrade, or there's no path back if the upgrade fails. In that case, you'd probably want to uninstall everything, and just install 3 from scratch.

Hi.
I am running an SBS 2003 SP1 server with WSUS 2.0 on a small network. The
problem is i tried to upgrade to WSUS 3.0 but it failed and now my WSUS 2.0
doesn't connect and show me the clients inthe console window, it just opens a
window in internet explorer and says "The page cannot be displayed". I still
have the WsusContent folder which is over 12.0GB and a WsusDatabase folder
which is 873MB.
Is there a way to reconnect WSUS 2.0 to the database to make it work or do i
need to reinstall WSUS 2.0 and start from scratch?
Any advice would be appreciated.
