Re: Can't access rww https:\\portal.company.com/remote

Thanks Cris

Is it normal then to see the default website from external access?

I want to make sure I haven't provided to much access.

When I connect through RWW i see..

Connect to server desktops
Connect to client desktops
Monitor helpdesk
Administer the companys internal website
View server performance report
View server usage report

If you simply type the URL, all you will get is the welcome screen
you must type /exchange if you want Outlook web access and /remote if you want RWW
What you're seeing is the "default website" and OWA and RWW are subsets of the default website

After you sign into RWW, you should see the link to "connect to the company's internal website"

Merv Thanks a lot.

The web administration wass set to 80 and 443.

I changed these to 8080 and 4443.

Tested and it now woks as expected.

Thanks.

Is it normal that https:\\portal.company.com and http:\\portal.company.com
would bring me to the welcome screen. Should I prevent this somehow?

Also am I right in thinking that the internal web site isnt available
through RWW.
If it is how to I make it available?

Thanks again
