Hi Dan:

You have some issues with your public DNS settings.  Check your gmail
account for a link to them, then get with the ISP and have those fixed.

At least you're not an open relay :)

Can you try sending yourself a message at marpia.com from another service,
like Gmail or Hotmail? Do you get a bounce, and if so, what does it say?

UPDATE: I was able to find the authentication settings and update with
the username and password that Verizon requires in order to use their
SMTP server. I was able to successfully send and e-mail to an outside
address withouta problem. I am still unable to receive e-mail. Here is
the transcript from MXToolbox.

HELO please-read-policy.mxtoolbox.com
250 marpia.com Hello [64.20.227.131] [62 ms]
MAIL FROM: <t...@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
250 2.1.0 t...@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx OK [141 ms]
RCPT TO: <t...@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for t...@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [5078 ms]
QUIT
221 2.0.0 marpia.com Service closing transmission channel [78 ms]

Is that relay line a problem here? My domain is marpia.com.- Hide quoted

Actually I don't get a bounce at all. I've sent mail from gmail and
yahoo and it sends just fine. However, I have a backup mail service
throughwww.dyndns.comin case my server ever cuts out, there is a
place to store my mail until it goes back up. I believe thats why I'm
not getting an Undeliverable message- Hide quoted text -

Costas: Yes dyndns shows the correct IP address that Verizon assigned
to me.
Larry: Would you please resend me the link that you sent to my g-mail
account? I forgot that I had forwarding on to my marpia account, so as
of now I'll never get it.

To anyone: What are the DNS settings for the SBS machine? Do I need an
MX setting on the local DNS server? Also what are the relay settings
supposed to be? I was playing with them and might have deleted the
original ones but I'm not sure. Is this a DNS setting issue with
Verizon or my computer? I can send find but can't receive. I've had
this issue before and can't remember what I did to correct it. Thanks
everyone.
