Re: mail server setup

I need to know how to change my return mail server settings in Exchange. Here's what happens: I set up my server and it works great if someone sends me a mail using just the primary domain, e.g; user@xxxxxxxxxxxxx But, for some reason my server adds this to my emails which automatically populates the return address of the person trying to reply; user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Whenever I try to change that from the SBS server, in the user account settings, it will simply undo my changes and make the primary mail for the user account back to user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please help. My clients are telling me they get my mail returned unless they are savy enough to just remove the "mail" part of the reply address.

The return address is set to the user's primary email address, as you already know.

If you change this from the Exchange default, then you have to remove the tick from the box at the bottom: "Automatically update..."
