Costas, I did install the intermediate GoDaddy certs. I did this according to the GoDaddy instructions, which is pretty much as the SBS guide mentions that you advised.

Thanks for your reply, Costas.

I have seen the link that you provided and I also found the follow-up post on ISA that you mentioned. Unfortunately, I've followed all of the notes, but I still cannot "see" the new GoDaddy cert when browsing in ISA. However, I can see and open the cert when using the MMC Certificates method and LocalComputer account.

The only thing that I have noticed is that when I open my new GoDaddy certificate, I don't see the "You have a private key that corresponds to this certificate" at the bottom as I believe I should. I've gone through the re-key process with GoDaddy to see if it would show-up, but it doesn't. The Certificate Path shows the valid path to the higher level certs and the cert installs correctly in IIS.

Ken,

I don't know if you have seen the follow writeup on 3rd party certificates http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2007/08/21/how-to-install-a-public-3rd-party-ssl-certificate-on-iis-on-sbs-2003.aspx but it could be of help.

For specific instructions involving ISA configuration, look the second comment on the above post which points to a pdf file with instructions.

I'm runnning SBS 2003 Premium and attempting to replace my self-signed certificate with a GoDaddy $30 certificate. I have successfully issued the certificate request from IIS, received the new certificate and installed the certificate in IIS along with the Intermediate CA that comes with the GoDaddy cert in MMC Certificates using the LocalComputer account. I also imported the cert into my personal certificates store using LocalComputer. However, when I attempt to update my ISA 2004 rules and create a new Web Listener, I cannot access the new GoDaddy certificate. It doesn't come up in the available list of certs. If I manually open the new GoDaddy cert, it looks correct and has the correct path on the last tab.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Ken
