Hi Guys, Guozhen
Cheers for the feed back again.
Okay did some further testing yesterday before anyone got to the server
so I could fully test the options.
NTBackup works fine before checking whether a red tick was cleared or
not. (by checking if it was it would be cleared and so I couldn't risk
looking) The Backup then ran fine and completed with no errors. Part of
the issue is that NTbackup as far as I know doesn't report and that is
one feature that the user wants.
Guozhen
I have alredy done an NTMS rebuild after one of your other posts
suggested it.
We use a new tape each time as we have them a daily rotation (6 day
cycle)
Power supply swapping can't be done given the business needs and the
brand new server. We could possibly at a weekend so that is a final
option.
I will take this afternoon to run through your other suggestions and
gather the files needed.
Many thanks again guys I will let you know what happens.
