From the Vista client:I can't ping the router, dns server or website.
Can you ping 192.168.10.1 (default gateway)?
Can you ping 4.2.2.1 (or another public DNS server's IP)?
Can you ping www.google.com?
I don't use Vista (shudder) but you've got a valid IP address - if you
can't do the ping tests, something else on the laptop is causing the
problem.
I can browse the local network.
But when I connect the computer to the router as the only device and use
static ip adress (router is not dhcp server) I have internet access.
