I hope not but will investigate. I'm going to allow the MX to implement and
will try again tomorrow. Thanks everyone for sharing "a most important
commodity."

you better confirm, because if it is a "residential" dsl line Port 25 is
likely blocked.
If so you'll need the POP3 connector afterall.

Yes, I believe it is. It was established before I arrived.

Also, are you connecting the SBS server to the Internet using an ATT

In your router, make sure Ports 25, 443 and 4125 are forwarded to your SBS
Internal NIC IP address (SBS external NIC IP, if you have 2 NICs in the
server).

Re-run CEICW...
+ Select Direct Broadband Connection
+ On Router Connection screen, use your ISP's DNS nameserver IP addresses
as the Preferred and Alternate DNS
+ Enable firewall
+ Select your services (for now just Email and Terminal Services)
+ Select Web Services (for now just OWA and RWW)
+ On Web Server Certificate screen, use: mail.adf-framing.com
+ For Email Retrieval Method, "Use Exchange", email is delivered directly
to my server
+ For Email Domain Name, us: adf-framing.com

Hello David,

I am actually using one of the users I've setup, Felicia@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The error I receive is "Cannot find host name". I have double checked
the
user name in the Control Panel of my ISP. Also, she is clearly setup as
a
user with all permissions on the server.

Yes, I have run the wizard recently using two slightly different
settings.
One Broadband and the second Broadband with static address. Still no
luck.

Your MX records don't look entirely right. But the 'exchange' one does
which
should be enough. You may want to fix the A record of
mail.adf-framing.com,
it does not resolve to any IP.
When I send email to postmaster or administrator@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I get
'user
unknown'
What happens when you send email to yourself? What bounce-back message
do
you get?
Looks like your almost home, you just need some exchange setting changed
or
added.
Have you re-run the Configure Email and Internet Connection Wizard
lately?
