Hi Costas, thanx for your fast reply!

How should I reinstall the companywebsite? Because now I can't delete it!

Should I use the continue setup on my SBS server and uninstall the intranet
tools and then reinstalled it again!

Just wan't  ask before I do this changes so I don't get extra work!

Best regards

Assuming that the companyweb site works properly after you reinstalled the
server, go the 'Central SharePoint Administration | Configure virtual server
settings, click on 'companyweb' and then on 'Delete Site Collection'.  In
the text box 'URL of the site to delete', type:http://companyweb

After that reissue the "stsadm.exe -o restore -url
http://companyweb-filename g:\backup.dat" command

Hope that helps

Hi

I have a Small business server 2003 running sharepoint. Yesterday I had to
reinstall my server and now I have trouble to restore my companyweb site.
I
used the stsadm.exe -o restore -urlhttp://companyweb-filename
g:\backup.dat
-overwrite command.

Now when I try to surf into the website I get this error in plain text:
"The Web site that is referenced here is not in the configuration
database"

When I try to create a new website in the companyweb root i get this
error:
"Error: A site with the specified name already exists."

When I try to delete this website(companyweb root) I get the following
answer:
"Error:Cannot complete this action. Please try again."

And when I try to restore it ones more I get this text:
"No content databases are available for restoring this site collection..
Create a
new content database and then try the restore operation again. To create a
new c
ontent database, on the Virtual Server Settings page for the virtual
server,
cli
ck Manage content databases. On the Manage Content Databases page, click
Add
a content database."

I can create a new site with a new name, but as soon as I try to restore
this website I get the same error.

Thanksful for help, I really need this site! We have build a booking
system
for our resturant.

Just trolling the NG to stay awake as my server undergoes some
maintenance and saw this thread. Went through this recently. Take a
look at the following articles from MS:

They should get you back in business in short order.
