Thank you Leythos & Chris,
The SBS03 has two nics, the dsl router is doing port forwarding these ports
25,443,4125 & 3389 to the external nic of SBS server. Should all of these
ports be forwarded to new vpn firewall and from vpn firewall again port
forward to sbs? what other ports should be forwarded to firewall. or should
firewall be on dmz of the dsl router.

Does your SBS server currently have two nic cards?.
If so, one of them most likely has the static Address you want to use
So you would configure the firewall so that static address is assigned to WAN port of the firewall
Then you will need to configure the LAN side so as to be in a different subnet than your LAN/Internal SBS NIc
DHCP should be turned off on the firewall
Do you have ISA installed?

We have adsl router connected to SBS03 and are planning to add a firewall in
between adsl router and SBS03 for VPN purposes, how do you or what are the
ways to assign static IP address to the firewall as the adsl router does not
have vpn capablities
