I see the options for setting up the dlink 604T are ppoe/oa, static ip, etc
during the wizard and I would like to confirm that setting up this router
with 2 nics on sbs2003 and a static ip from bigpond is simply setting up the
router like any other (non static IP) adsl account.
So as I understand the router gets it's static IP and dns etc automatically.
Correct?
So when would one use those >choose static IP and complete all the dns
feilds etc?
On the WAN tab I see the tab "dynamic ip" is selected. I'm just not too
clear on the options and why they are even there.

Re: Urgent! New router and big disaster ... Both NICs should point to his internal IP for DNS.... You should give your SBS a fixed external address so you can forward ports to it reliably in the router.... I should have been more clear about internet connection.....
