Hello Aart,

Thank you for posting here. Let's also thank Cliff for the input.

According to your description, I understand that you unable to install the
open license version of SBS 2003 on the HP server, because the installation
unable to find the RAID drivers. If I have misunderstood the problem,
please don't hesitate to let me know.

First I want to know what is the "open license version of SBS 2003"? How do
you get it?

Then, I want to explain, we do not support any burned media by customer
self. Please use the official media you bought from Microsoft.

Based on my research, I suggest we try the following steps to see if we can
resolve this issue:

1. Please ensure the RAID drivers on your HP server is in the HCL list of
Windows server 2003:

http://www.windowsservercatalog.com/

Note: The SBS 2003 R2 could work fine does not mean the RAID drivers
certain in the HCL.

2. Is the SBS 2003 R2 which works fine a OEM media from HP? If yes, the HP
may add some driver in the media to make it work fine with its hardware.
Please contact the HP to confirm it.

3. As we know the Windows Small Business Server 2003 Service Pack 0 had
support retired at 10-Jul-2007. If the problematic media is SBS 2003 sp0,
you need to buy a latest product.

I hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

| I was adding service packs via nlite, the R2 didn't work without F6, and
