Lanwench,
Creative, colorful resposne. Yes - what is the point. I often ask "that"
question all the time when dealing with IT. I've often thought I should be a
plumber, I have the crack for it!
Yes, I'm the only one that see's it - Yes, I like something that represents
logical sense. Anyway. I will accept it, move on and forget my perfect ways
:)
Thanks for your assistance (all of you), I was suprise on the
reponses/times - as this was my first post.
Cheers,
Chris

Good day,
I've recently obtained a Small Business Win2k3 (SP1) server to
manage. I have been restructuring the OU's to match the
organizational structure of the company. I have no problems using AD
Users and Groups snap-in, but I have an assist who likes to use the
Server Management Tool that comes with SBS.
When he clicks on Users and chooses the "Add User" link, we get the
following error:
Add User Wizard
The required organizational units do not exsit and are required by the
Wizard. Run Small Business Server Setup again, and reinstall the
administration component.
I have tried to google this and use MSKB with no luck. There are a few
people with similar issues - but nothing resolved.
I ran the setup from Disk 1, but got worried when it said it would
take 40 minutes to install.
I confirmed %sbsprogramdir%/Administration was there.
Feeling like a tool, cause I know it has to be simple

Chris
OT for after you recover from this -
One of the first things I learned in one of my first badly-botched SBS
installs was to leave stuff alone, including OUs. I *add* OUs (such as
SBSLaptops) and link my custom GPOs where I wish, but I never ever __ around
with the default OUs or policies. I suggest you heed this advice.
