Dear Terence!
Problem is solved! Thank you very very very much.
Reason of permanent popups is VMware server aplication on clients. Every
client with Vmware had this problem.
We have been testing our clients for 2 days and it seems to be fine.
Once again thank you!
Tomasz.

Dear Tomasz,
Thank you for your update.
Based on my research of your log files, I suggest we try the following
steps to see if we can resolve this issue:
1. Run CEICW to configure the network of SBS:
How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825763/en-us
Two network adapters - manual router connection to broadband
a. If you receive a dialog box that says that a UPnP router was detected
and you want to configure the router automatically, go to the " Two
network
adapters - UPnP router connection to broadband " section.
b. Click No to the question "Do you want the wizard to configure the
router?"
c. On the Connection Type page, click Broadband, and then click Next.
d. On the Broadband Connection page, under My server uses, click A local
router device with an IP address, and then click Next.
e. On the Router Connection page, next to Preferred DNS server and
Alternate DNS server, type the IP addresses that are provided by your ISP.
In the Local IP address of router box, type the IP address of the router
that the server uses to connect to the router.
f. Click to clear the My server uses a single network connection for both
Internet access and the local network check box, and then click Next.
g. On the Network Connection, You must enable and configure the network
connection to your ISP page, under the Connection Name, click Network
Connection.
h. If your router provides DHCP, click Obtain an IP address automatically
(use DHCP). If your router does not provide DHCP, click Use the following
IP address, and then type the IP address and the subnet mask in accordance
with the router settings. The default gateway is the IP address of the
router.
i. Click Next.
The network connection is now enabled.
j. On the Network Connection, You must click the connection for your ISP
and local network page, click Network Connection under the ISP network
connection.
k. Under the Local network connection, click Server Local Area
Connection,
and then click Next.
l. Complete the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard.
2. Uninstall VMware on client. The VMware installed virtual NICs on the
client, this may cause the network issue. I suggest you uninstall VMware
from the client to test this issue.
3. The antivirus software real-time scan may corrupt mapped drive. Please
disable antivirus software on clients and SBS. Then, monitor this issue.
4. Please do clean boot on client to narrow down this issue.
To clean boot the problematic computer, please use the steps below:
a. Click Start, click Run, and then in the Open box, type "MSCONFIG"
(without the quotation marks). Click OK.
b. In the System Configuration Utility (MSConfig) window, click to select
the Selective Startup button.
c. Click to clear the check mark from the "Load startup items" below
Selective Startup.
d. Click the Services tab, click to check the "Hide All Microsoft
Services"
box, and remove all the check marks from the remained Non-Microsoft
Services.
e. Click OK to close the MSConfig window. Click Yes when you are asked to
restart your computer in order to enable the changes.
f. After restarting, please check whether this issue will reoccur.
g. If there are no more problems, please use the above steps to enable
services and startup items one by one in order to figure out the root
cause
of this issue.
5. The corrupted offline file will also cause this issue. Please try to
re-initialize the offline files cache and database on client computers:
a. In Folder Options , on the Offline Files tab, press CTRL+SHIFT, and
then click Delete Files . The following message appears:
The Offline Files cache on the local computer will be re-initialized. Any
changes that have not been synchronized with computers on the network will
be lost. Any files or folders made available offline will no longer be
available offline. A computer restart is required.
Do you wish to re-initialize the cache?
b. Click Yes two times to restart the computer.
c. Disable offline files. This operation must be done first because files
are in use.
a) Start Windows Explorer.
b) On the Tools menu, click Folder Options .
c) Click Offline Files , and then enable offline files.
d. Delete the CSC folder and its contents.
Simply delete the %SystemRoot%\CSC folder and restart the computer.
e. Re-enable Offline Files. A new CSC folder structure is automatically
rebuilt.
f. Then you can reselect which shard folder you want to do sync.
6. I find following error in your event log,
Event Type: Error
Event Source: NtFrs

Event ID: 13568

Time: 12:29:37 AM

I suggest you perform the following steps:

b. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
c. Locate and click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs\Parameters\Backup
/Restore/Process at Startup
d. On the Edit menu, click Add Value , and then add the following
registry
value:
Value name: BurFlags
Data type: REG_DWORD
Radix: Hexadecimal
Value data: D2
e. Quit Registry Editor.
f. Restart FRS.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Dear Terence,
|
| Thank you for your help. Here is a MPS Report and ipconfif_client and
route
| files.
|
| Let me write in few sentences about changes.
|
| 1. I downloaded and installed KB948496 hotfix - it did not help.
| 2. Disable the RSS support from the TCP/IP - EnableRSS was 0 so I did
not
| change anything.
| 3. Disable Offloading support. I did not have DisableTaskOffload DWORD
at
| all. I created it with value 1.
|
| I rebooted server. Since then it seems to be ok(one day test) but only
one
| client still have pop ups few times a day.
| Every client could access company web and OWA after pop up occurred.
|
| The faulty desktop is the same brand, make and model like other clients
| that's why I don't suspect any individual NIC, drivers problems.
|
| If you have any idea what could be wrong I will be much obliged to you.
|
| Regards,
|
