Hello Daniel,
According to your description, I understand that you cannot mount the store
after a power failure. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me
know.
If this issue is very urgent, I recommend that you contact Customer Support
Service so that a dedicated support professional can resolve the issue for
you more efficiently.
For more information of Professional Support Options and Phone Numbers, you
can refer to the following web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/?LN=en-us&scid=gp%3Ben-us%3Bofferprophone&x=3&y

Outside of the US/Canada, you can refer to:
http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx
If you would like to work on in newsgroup, I am still glad to help.
Based on my research, the problem may be caused by that some of the
transaction log files in the MDBData folder have been corrupted or changed.
Please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot this issue.
1. Please verify the permissions on MDBDATA folder and ensure that the
following permissions have been granted:
Administrators: Full Control
Authenticated Users: Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read
CREATOR OWNER: <None>
Server Operators: ALL permissions except Full Control
SYSTEM: Full Control
2. Please ensure that the MDBData, M: drive and other Exchange related
folders are not scanned by the anti-virus program. The following Microsoft
Knowledge Base article is for your reference.
Overview of Exchange Server 2003 and Antivirus Software
ID: 823166.KB.EN-US
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=823166
In addition, you can use the following steps to disable the antivirus
1). Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2). Locate the Enabled value under the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan
3). On the Edit menu, click DWORD, type "0" (without the quotation marks),
and then click OK.
4). Quit Registry Editor. Then reboot the server, and test if you can mount
the store.
For more information, please refer to the following KB articles:
294367 You Cannot Mount the Database, and Receive Events 9518 and 455
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=294367
301438 You cannot mount a database because there is a corrupted transaction
log
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=301438
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Manfred Zhuang(MSFT)

| Had a power failure edb's had dirty state shutdown
| I have gone through a restore process
| afterwards could not mount information stores
| No clients could connect to Exchange..
| I then went into disaster recovery mode:
| repaired edb's with eseutil successfully with eseutil /r
| defrag successfully with eseutil /d
| went to run "isinteg" ran into error
|
| "Isinteg cannot initiate verification process."
|
| Ran eseutil /mh to see status ... see below for results and the running

| How can I get isinteg to run and bring databases into consistent state so
they
