NNTP is port TCP 119.
Do you have a firewall or router in front of your SBS? Only open inbound
ports that you want to forward.
If you have a real firewall and not just a NAT router, check this thread and
open only what you need.

Exchange to receive directly in addition to the POP3I just tumbled to the fact that POP3 uses port 110, like NNTP. By and
Connector, i.e., port 25 is not open on your router? Or just that you do

have OWA, Outlook RPC over HTTP, etc, open?
large, I
do not use port 25 except for outgoing messages. Most of our traffic is
browser and real NNTP, such as this.
Is there any simple way to turn off port 25 using ISA? It is easy enough
to
disable the line altogether, but I would like to keep it open when there
is
browser traffic and for NNTP.
What port is RSS be using? I have several RSS connections feeding into
Exchange.
