Hi Terence and dear fellowes
Just came back to see any updates. Really, no techical issues left disscussed.
In my case I feel fine, if no major HW power is not needed with TS. Litlle
problems with MS licenses. Office seems to be quite expencive with it. Have
to explain to customer that we dont have OEM prices in here.
The customer is still happy with the speed via VPN-RDP (Ok, won't introduce
RDP-to-SBS again to customer acting like WorkStation).
Popably will put here final report if TS will actually happend.

Hello Juha,.
Thank you for your reply.
This is a hardware requirement issue. You can check the hardware
requirement list of your Terminal Server.
Generally, if the TS only support 5 remote users and not need to run 24*7,
a powerful workstation is not a bad choice.
Thanks and have a nice day!

| Hi
|
| I'm so happy to tell you that my customer order the TS today. We had a
talk
| and he told me that the demonstration is enough. TS is what they need.
But,
| we have this time a limited budget.
|
| I feel that in this case we don't need HW power with TS, it wil use SBS
| servers SQL DB, right? But some 2 to 5 TS-users will need TS-MS Office to
| study the SQL data. How do you feel, is a Power wokrstation with two
mirrored
| disks enough for a year or two?
|
| Btw, will need this case badly for a reference-customer. The HW
manufactorer
| have asked us to co-reference this and another case in this autumn in
press.
| They will pay the costs
