Re: server disconnection - very often

Hi Larry,

I pretty sure that none of above.

1. I have few switches and problems occurs in deferent places of network.
2. I have deferent clients, HP desktops, Lenovo laptops etc.
3. Not every cable in my network is faulty. (regular standard CAT5)
4. I have unmarked NIC ad a device which could go to sleep already.

Do u have any other ideas?

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Tom:

Bad switch/port
Bad NIC
Bad cable
Nics going to sleep.

Issues with various NIC drivers, be sure you are updated to the very
latest

Possible issues with Windows Server SP2 being installed on the SBS. There
are follow up fixes for this. Let us know if you need more info.

Run the SBS BPA.
