No. I have 2 internet connections. Connecting the Vista machine to the local
switch on the server network yields the same results. The webpage cannot be
found 404 yada.
Is there a Vista / SBS 2003 connection problem? Is there something I can
check locally on the server to verify the installation? What should I see
when I navigate to Http://companyweb/ locally on the server? At the moment it
brings up the Supero management tool. Perhaps I need to dump that? Is it
really this hard to get a SBS running? Appreciate the response, thank you.

If you want to access RWW, you need to type https://xx.xxx.xxx.xx/remote.
Does that work?

New server installation with static ip. No DNS registration. Experienced
IT
tech/neophyte SBS 2003 user. Navigate to http://xx.xxx.xxx.xx from XP Pro
workstation results in launching of server based management tool Supero
Dr.
bundled with hardware which proves connectivity to server. Install seemed
to
complete and ran R2 and Msoft updates etc. Still had continue setup icon
on
desktop. Tried appending various suffixes to IP/404 results.
cable->cable modem->(nic 1) 70. subnet
(nic 2)->local switch 192. subnet.
Navigating to IP from Vista workstation fails to find IP at all.
How do I test and troubleshoot this server?
