In article <7E084CDD-5480-4F41-A495-246A0364A793@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>,
NickH@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx says...
Are you referring to setting the first NIC to "autoIP" to remove the IP
address; going in to the TCP/IP protocol on the second NIC and statically
assigning the IP information that was on the first one, reboot, and running
the Internet Connection Wizard?
I'm saying that you need to remove the first IP, not just AUTO, remove
it or set it to some value like 10.10.10.10 (as long as you don't use
any 10.10.10.x addresses) and then assign the IP from the first NIC to
the enabled second NIC. Once you do that, go back and delete the config
from the first NIC and disable it.
Reboot
Run the wizard.
