You users need 50 tries to get their password right?
The account will reopen in 15minutes.
There's a group policy setting onthe server but I'm going to guess that
you have Sharepoint possibly set up wrong and someone's got a pass
through password set up incorrectly.
I've "never" had a normal user lock an account. Ever.
When they do, there's typically something wrong in the network setup.

... It might just be simpler just to delete this user account and create another, after making sure you move all the files in it's "My Documents" folder to the "Shared Docs" folder. ... What IS normal is for an account either to have a password set, and the system asks for it, OR, no password is set for the account and none is therefore required or asked for by the system... ...
