Hello John,
Thank you for your update.
I'm sorry for the delay response due to the weekend.
In the Add or Remove Programs list, the "Windows Small Business Server
2003" is different from "Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2". The
"Windows Small Business Server 2003" is SBS integrated setup, you can add
or remove SBS components here. The "Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2"
is only for add or remove WSUS 2.0 on SBS 2003 R2.
If you unable to find "Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2" in the Add or
Remove Programs list, I think you may uninstall it before. In such a case,
I suggest you reinstall WSUS from your SBS 2003 R2 disk #6:
a. Reinstall WSUS from your SBS R2 Technology CD 6.
b. After you reinstall WSUS, please rerun the CEICW on SBS:
Go through the follow KB and rerun CEICW carefully.
How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825763/en-us
If you still get the error, I think the WSUS on SBS may not uninstall
cleanly. Let us try to uninstall WSUS by using MSIZAP.exe. You can find the
steps in my previous reply.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Terence in the Add/Remove Programms list I see the "Windows Small

|
| Should I uninstall it, or not?

| Sorry for asking this, but I'm afraid to do something wrong.
