OK - I don't use the POP connector (I don't like them) so I'll take your
word for it.
did the tricks at Yahoo again. I added a virtual SMTP server for Ann's
account, restricting it to accepting only messages from her user account,
set it to connect to the same outbound server at Verizon, logged in to the
same root account, and was able to send a message, from her machine, to a
test mailbox at Verizon. No 553 error message was returned, and it arrived
in the test mailbox. I have a message to a friend asking for a reply.
When that comes back, I will finally be convinced.
I think they were working to fix their problems, and finally, it seems to
be working.
