Installing Sql2005 Express on sbs2003 std

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hello,

I have to install Sql 2005 Express edition on a Sbs2003 std box.

As sbs's default there are 2 msde instances running ( sbsmonitoring -
sharepoint ), it is possible to keep these 2 istances without modifying them
and add a new sql 2005 db? or i can upgrade both instandes to sql 2005
without issue to the sharepoint enviroment and monitoring features?

I remember that some times ago, theres a doc. regarding this, but i cannot
found anymore.

Thanks in advance
