You should any server (web, ftp, etc) where you expect the public to interact with in the DMZ, not as a part of your network/domain
Customers can put files up there, you can logon to ftp server to pull files down

Hi Folks,
Views on the sensibility of running an FTP server with external access
on an SBS 2003 server or on a NAS on the LAN ?
Maybe publish a secure port on ISA2004 to the NAS ?
I'm sure I've got a training manual at home somewhere which advises
against this.
Anyone tried this/any recommendations ?
Jim.
