Connection in Google

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Whenever I do an internet search for anything containing the word
'connection', I am met with the following error in IE:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

I have and SBS network using a separate hardware firewall for internet
access, but cannot see any means of blocking the connection in there.

This actually happens in Google, Yahoo, altavista but NOT msn or ask,
I haven't tried any others. Using firefox I just get a blank screen
without any error.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Joseph
