I have already shown them that they can pull the AOL accounts
directly into Outlook using the AOL mail client. It is not a GOOD
solution, it works to a limited degree and they weren't happy with it.
I'm going to look into some 3rd party software someone else had
recommended in another post "ENetBot's utility that will send/receive
AOL email into Outlook http://www.enetbot.com/"; maybe it will work
more fully. Or if not this one, maybe another one out there.

I asume you mean using the IM functions (chat rooms)? If so, the
boss uses it to send messages to the others in his company, so not
only does he allow it, he uses it a wants his users to use it. I've
told them they could just sent e-mail through Outlook, within the
network delivery is practically instantanious, but...

I just finished sending him a write up on the issues and my opinion
(pro Outlook/Exchange/Kill AOL) and made all the points I could think
of (again), plus the security issues this is causing. We'll see what
her things soon enough I guess.
