My suggeastion Is to start over and try to configure Outlook again when
connected to the network.
That means to delete the current mail-profile and start from real scratch
again.

Okay everyone - I've tried all those things.....
Windows is XP SP2
Outlook is 2003
Certificate is installed
User can access e-mail via OWA
User can access SBS using RWW
Have followed the documentation to the letter (and the full stop,
backslashes, domain name, etc!!)
But it still doesn't make the connection.
The only clue I've got is that when you go through "Configure the
Computer for RPC over HTTP", after you do Step 5 you get an on-screen
error: "The action could not be completed. The connection to the
Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or
connected to complete this action."
(And I did not click on Check Name!!)
What really foxes me is that RWW and OWA both work fine......
Any more ideas please?
TIA,
JohnK
