Hi,

My native language Is Swedish, Im from Stockholm, Sweden.

I agree with you about not presenting the answers to a thread people are
reading and trying to help out with.

I dont see my self contributing as much (maybe some, but not much at all)
what others do, like the MVPs and Russ, Holz, Leythos, when users has
problems and issues that they ned help with. When Susanne B chips In that
often means with a solution that gives an ahaa reaction ;-). But I do have
an enormous kickback In learning when trying to understand peoples problems
what people needs help with and when I learn from others problems and
solutions.

I like very much when the persons from MSFT are making summarys when an
issue has been solved.
That makes threads more valuable to search, we know that these searches are
made from various groups such as google groups etc.

Thanks

Henrik,

Hold on...hold on....

No worries. Thank you for the reply. Please do not misunderstand my
post. I posted the question and then started looking. I found several
good articles on this pretty quickly and made the changes on the server.
I then came back to the newsgroup - to post that I had found the answer
(hate it when people do not do that....or, even worse, reply that he/she
has found the answer but does not post what the answer is) and saw that
you replied.

So, no worries! And your English is pretty good. What is your native
language? From your name guessing Dutch or Danish...

Cary

Henrik,

Thanks, I actually found this some time ago and was coming back in to
let everyone know where the settings are.

TrustedTimeOut is, by default, 120 minutes whereas PublicTimeOut is, by
default, 20 minutes. Also, please note that the affected user will
receive a nice popup message about being disconnected due to inactivity
one minute before the disconnect is to happen.

Thanks again,

Cary

Yes, there is, go to
regedit-HKLM/Software/microsoft/smallbusinesserver/ and change the key
Trustedtimeout.

Pls, take a backup of your registry before any changes.

Good evening!

One last question for the day. Client is running SBS2003 SP2 /
Exchange 2003 SP2 Standard and has some 20 sales people who use RWW to
connect to e-mail (OWA) and / or Terminal Server. Similar to the
timeout settings for OWA (after 15 minutes an idle connection is
disconnected for 'public computers' and after 24 hours an idle
connection is disconnected for 'private computers') is there a "idle
disconnect" setting for RWW?

Thanks,

Cary
