Microsoft##SSEE SQL Server (what is it?)

I can't identify when, but suddenly I have a new SQL Server that has appeared named:

Microsoft##SSEE

Has anyone an idea what this is and what it does and indeed is it a genuine part of MS SBS 2003 R2?
