Re: RWW and Refreshing Images

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi Paul,

I'm thinking this is a side effect of viewing high resoultion pcitures over
terminal services (RDP). RDP is fast for most things, but not for CAD or
hi-res images.

Terminal Services Slow Load of Pictures

As mentioned in the thread above, maybe there is a some compression software
that you can integrate into your image viewing to speed things up, but this
generally means lower quality images.

We have a client who needs to view xray images over RWW. When images are
loading they seem to have a very slow refresh rate and seem to load in
blocks, this becomes troublesome when manipulating images as images are so
slow to refresh. Is there any way of improving this?
