How do I test OMA from inside the SBS2003 network (LAN).
I can access http://servername/remote for RWW on the LAN, but
http://servername/OMA returns an error after it prompts me for login
credentials:
"A System error has occurred while processing your request. Please try
again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator"
What is going on here?
On the server itself, try http://localhost/oma.
This should be working. You might re-run the CEICW (although if you're on
the server itself that shouldn't matter overmuch) just to check your
settings.
Check your event logs, too.
I also want to know if OMA requires port 443 to be open.
Yes, AFAIK. And I wouldn't allow it otherwise - don't let anything into your
server on 80.
But why would you bother using OMA anyway? If you've got Exchange 2003 you
should just use Exchange Activesync. I've never found the slighest need for
OMA, myself.
Thanks.
