Thanks for your reply Leythos.

For your solution just make one large RAID-5 Partition, "C" and install
everything on it, it will save you lots of headache later and you're not
any more/less secure with a single partition. Get 4 drives, one acts as
a hot spare, or get 4 drives and use all 4 active, then order a spare to
sit on the shelf in case you have a failure.

I dont think the company wants to spend that much money for server
right now, but I thought about RAID5 settings and I'm familiar with it
from other servers.

The old "pay me now or pay me later" expression comes to mind.

I really don't like to partition SBS servers, it just causes problems
later unless you make the two partitions larger than is ever expected to
be needed and most don't do that.

RAID-5 is a must.

You want 4GB RAM no matter what, don't even consider less.

Yes, I'll definitely go for 4 GB.

Get Dual CPU's, go with slower if you need to keep the cost down, but
get Dual CPU's, if you grow later or run backups during production
hours, you will kick yourself for not doing it now - it's not that much
more expensive to do it now.

Xeon CPU I selected is Dual Core.

Dual core is NOT dual CPU, there is a difference. I would rather have
Dual Single Core CPU's than 1 dual core CPU.

New server will have Exchanged, leave it on it and make use of it, your
hosted email can be a backup.

I'm considering Exchange for future but not the whole switch at once.
So thats why I'll be getting SBS, so in the future i can switch to
Exchange for email.

Do it now, there is no reason to wait, you'll be happy that you just did
it.

SQL, like it or not, you will have a version/flavor of SQL on the server
for SBS functions.
Yes, I'm already running it for SBS purposes.

How are you going to backup the server?
I have external HDDs and father/son/grandson setup right now, and I
also backup the whole server Monthly, Ghost backup.
my future plan for backup will be off site backup. but not in 8-10
months period.

Roaming profiles - I use them on MANY servers and also implement
redirected My Documents folder also - no problem.

My concern here is PST files, I'm already using directory redirection
for My Doc. but i want to use Roaming for people's convenient.

Move the PST file to their HOME drive (normally H or Z) and change
Outlook to look to the network drive (HOME) for it instead of the local
computer - if you use Exchange this doesn't need done, as SBS will setup
cached mode from any station you logon too.

No matter what Dell ships you, it will be configured incorrectly, blow
it away and start from scratch. This will let you setup the way YOU WANT
IT.

You maybe right about this, but I used the Dell's/ HP's setup before
with my server, but I gave them the instructions, All I needed to do
was DCPromo.

We do MAY Dell, IBM, HP servers ever year, only IBM has always shipped
them the way we spec them, Dell is the worst about following directions.
