the news server that ALL microsoft public news groups have their origin on is msnews.microsoft.com
If I'm not mistaken, all other news servers pull their feed from that server? Other news servers may or may not make all of newsgroups available

False - While MS did create the root structure for Usenet, it exists in
Usenet now with MS even needing to exist any longer. This group is
HOSTED around the globe on many servers and is not under MS's control as
a MS group.

While MS does control its own Usenet interface and its Usenet servers,
it does not control any other providers Usenet Servers, so, the best way
to control abuse is to report the abuser to the abusers Usenet interface
provider, include full headers, and link to the groups Charter.
