Start by going to the Control Panel and uninstalling Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.
If when you installed WSS 3.0 you selected the 'stand-alone' option and you don't have WSUS 3.0 installed on the server, follow the steps outlined in the following article to remove the Windows Internal Database http://support.microsoft.com/kb/920277
The second step doesn't apply if you have WSUS 3.0 installed because the service is using the Internal database.
The left over databases (file system) are in the C:\Windows\SYSMMSI\SSEE\MSSQL.2005\MSQL\DATA directory.
Hope that helps

Could anyone outline the procedure for me to uninstall Windows Sharepoint
Services 3.0 from my SBS 2003 Premium server? WSS3 was installed side-by-side
with CompanyWeb (and is working OK). I also need to clear out the databases
used by WSS3. I am just worried about the correct order to do things -
stopping services, databases, removing WSS3 program, etc.
Thanks.
