Now if you have the TS licenses installed (look for TS licensing under the
admin tools) you are good to go.
If you have problems installing the licenses you can call MS. The call is
free.

Use temp folders...yes

Active desktop....disable

That's right.
In order to help you we need answers to this 2 questions:
Question 1:
Question 2:Also, when you talk about the 5 licenses, are you talking about the
build
in
server licenses or are you talking about 5 TS Client licenses?
Did you verify that your TS is running in application mode or is it
set
to
the default, which is administration mode?
If you don't know how to check the TS mode....
Administrative Tools - Terminal Services Configuration - click on "server
settings"
In the right pane under Licensing Mode does it say:
"Remote Desktop for Administration"
or does it say device or user mode

internet/router/firewall/2 servers
Server01
sbs 2003 with Exchange
Server02
Application Server with terminal Services.
I went to the Terminal Server and added each user in the Configure
Terminal
Server area, Permissions. The only thing that was in there were Remote
Users
and Administrators. I have not added the names individually to the
Remote
users group yet.. Not sure I can.
Sometimes It just takes reading.........

Given that you didn't answer my earlier question (1NIC/2NIC on SBS)
let
me
try this another way.
What is your network setup? Internet - Router - LAN switch with both
servers
and workstations?
or
Internet - Router - SBS WAN NIC - SBS LAN NIC - switch with
workstations
and
second server?
Also, when you talk about the 5 licenses, are you talking about the

I will check to see that it has not happened that way. But, i believe
3389
has been forwarded as it was given to us as a direct entry I.P. +
:3389.
problem there is even direct the user is bounce, not the
administrator.
"Claus" wrote:
For testing purposes I would recommend you change the settings on
your
router to forward 3389 directly to your TS and have a normal user
try
to
connect to your App server. If that doesn't work it will help us to
rule
out
the SBS box as the problem.

Server 2 is linked to Server 1 yes.
Server1 is where AD is and Server 2 is where the application and
TS
is.
more?
"Claus" wrote:
We would need some more info on this. What SBS? 1NIC/2NIC? ISA?
Is the second server running TS in application mode?
Did you join that server into the domain with "connectcomputer"?
What kind of application are we talking about?
