Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delayed answer .... just a bit busy.
No the phone is a Crapberry so I want to basiclly
make the phone and it's BB e-mail box on the blackberry
a member of the distrbution group so that it gets any
emails that the group gets.
The disttrabution group itsself is working dandy, if someone
mails support@ourplace everyone gets a copy in their
outlook inbox.
I created a contact called BackberryPhone and created a
exchange address and hid it from the address list and I also
added the SMTP address of the BB phone name@xxxxxxxxxxxx
berry.net but when I go to add that contact to the dist group
list I can't see the contact when I do a find .... same thing
as before.
I guess I'll have to add that phone as a user as oppsed to
a contact then I can add "it" as a user to the dist. group right?
I thought I read somewhere that in order for an object to be
a member of a dist group that object has to be a user. I have
made contacts for all of the other phones and then added those
contacts to the users account as a forwarding address in the
users Exch. Gen. Properties and of course that works dandy .....
Thanks for the help again guys !!
Cheers'
Dave
If you want to add a contact to a dist group, click on "object
types" first, then check the "contacts" checkbox first. Then you'll
be able to "see" the contact objects.

Create an AD contact for the phone's email address in ADUC
Add the AD contact to the group
Hide the AD contact from the address list
Done
