Reinstall of Intranet fails even after MS KB followed

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry


Hello, I am attempting to reinstall the Intranet component of Server
Tools for Small Business Server 2003. The current installation is
updated to SP2. I have followed all of the steps recommended in
Microsoft KB 832880, but the install continues to fail. I am receiving
the following error message:

An error occurred while copying files for the Intranet component. See
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small Business Server
2003\Logs\SBSMSI-clientxp.LOG for the list of files that were not
copied. You may want to run Setup again and reinstall the component.

I have tried the steps from Microsoft KB 832880, I have tried
re-registering the dll file described in other threads, all to no
avail.
