I guess I am working with bad information. We had a local IT support
company (MS partner) in to evaluate our system and bid on taking over
support. They told us that all user data should be on the server. Sounded
nuts to me, as this gives you an enormous single point failure potential.
I made the rash assumption that they knew better than me (at least in the
SBS concept).
Sounds like you disagree.
